LEGAL & SERVICE INFORMATION
Shipping & Delivery Policy
Lithium batteries are regulated goods. Shipping method, price, documents, risk transfer and estimated timing are confirmed for each quotation and route.
Last updated: August 20, 2026
1. Order-specific shipping terms
The accepted quotation or order confirmation should state the ship-from location, destination, Incoterm (Incoterms 2020 where used), freight mode, included charges, estimated readiness and required documents. The agreed Incoterm controls allocation of cost, risk, customs and insurance responsibilities.
2. Production and readiness
Production lead time begins only after the stated commercial and technical conditions are met, which may include deposit, approved specification, artwork, sample and document confirmation. An estimate is not a guaranteed dispatch date unless expressly agreed in writing.
3. Dangerous-goods compliance
Safecloud prepares shipping based on the applicable product, quantity, carrier and route. Documents may include UN38.3, MSDS, dangerous-goods declarations, packing records or other certificates. Carrier acceptance and route restrictions can change.
4. Delivery estimates
Transit estimates depend on mode, route, vessel or flight schedules, dangerous-goods capacity, customs, inspections, weather and destination handling. Safecloud will communicate known material changes but cannot guarantee events controlled by carriers or authorities.
5. Customs, taxes and import responsibility
Duties, taxes, customs brokerage, permits, registrations and local compliance are allocated by the accepted Incoterm and order terms. The buyer must provide accurate consignee, importer and destination information on time.
6. Tracking and documents
Available booking, bill-of-lading, air-waybill or tracking details are provided after dispatch. Review consignee and document data promptly and report errors before cut-off times.
7. Inspection and claims
Inspect packaging and quantity at delivery. Note visible damage on the carrier record and report it within 48 hours with photos, labels and packaging evidence. Preserve the shipment for carrier or insurer inspection and follow the risk allocation in the agreed Incoterm.
8. Address changes and failed delivery
Address or consignee changes after booking may create additional cost or may be impossible for regulated goods. Costs caused by inaccurate information, refusal, storage, re-delivery or unavailability follow the accepted order terms.
9. Safety on receipt
Do not install a visibly damaged, leaking, swollen, wet or unusually hot battery. Isolate it safely, keep people away, follow local emergency guidance and contact Safecloud and the carrier. Do not forward it through an ordinary courier.
