RV and Marine LiFePO4 Battery Supply for Distributors and Vehicle Builders

Drop-in 12.8 V and 25.6 V packs built for the installation positions lead-acid was never asked to survive — underfloor bays, engine compartments, deck lockers and machinery housings.

Who this page is for

Three ways this platform is bought

This is a supply page, not a retail page. Pricing, MOQ and documentation are quoted against the model and volume you specify.
Buyer / 01

Aftermarket distributors

Cover a full capacity ladder from one datasheet family, with consistent charge profiles across the range.
Buyer / 02

RV, van and boat builders

Batteries specified into a vehicle or vessel at build stage, where enclosure fit and vibration exposure matter more than headline capacity.
Buyer / 03

Energy brands going private label

A proven pack platform released under your own brand, with the BMS and options locked before first production.
What actually changes

The upgrade is not capacity — it is usable capacity and duty cycle

A 100 Ah lead-acid bank does not deliver 100 Ah. Held to a conservative depth of discharge and derated for Peukert losses at real currents, usable energy is far below nameplate. This is why a like-for-like Ah swap disappoints and a properly sized LiFePO4 pack does not.

Recommended platforms

Platforms specified for mobile and off-grid duty

Start from the mounting position and the peak current, then pick the capacity. Getting that order right prevents most field failures.
Platform / 01

FT-B sealed series — IP64

Metal enclosure rated for dust ingress and splashing water. Three models on one platform: 12.8 V 100 Ah, 12.8 V 200 Ah and 25.6 V 200 Ah.
Platform / 02

12.8 V standard range

The volume line for distribution: six capacities sharing one charge profile, with 4S and 4P support for building 24 V and 48 V banks.
Platform / 03

25.6 V standard range

For systems already on a 24 V bus — larger inverters, bow thrusters, winches and higher-draw appliances at lower cable current.
Engineering decision points

What to settle before the first purchase order

Six questions that decide whether the pack performs in the field. Send us the answers and the quotation comes back configured, not generic.
01

Mounting position and IP rating

Underfloor bays, deck lockers and engine compartments see dust and spray. IP64 covers that; it is not immersion-rated. Specify the actual position, not the vehicle type.
02

Peak current, not nominal

Compressor fridges, windlasses, bow thrusters and inverters draw heavy inrush. Size cable, fusing and busbar against the 10-second peak rating.
03

Cold-climate charging

Charging must not start below 0 °C. Discharge continues to -20 °C. For Nordic, Alpine or Canadian markets, raise self-heating or low-temperature cut-off at quotation stage.
04

Series and parallel topology

Confirm the intended bank layout early. Identical models, matched state of charge and identical cable lengths are prerequisites — mixing capacities or ages in one string is not supported.
05

Alternator and shore charging

A lithium bank changes alternator loading and shore-charger profile. Confirm the charging sources so the BMS window and charger settings match.
06

Terminal and connector format

M6 versus M8, stud orientation and cable lug size are the details that stall an installation. Lock them before sample approval.
Selection guide

Sizing a house bank from the load, not from the old battery

Take daily energy consumption, divide by usable depth of discharge, then check the result against the peak current requirement. The second check is the one most quotations skip.

Starting points only. Send the appliance list, continuous and peak current, ambient temperature range and required autonomy and we will size it against the actual duty cycle.
Compliance for this application

Documentation for aftermarket and vehicle-build supply

Aftermarket distribution and vehicle OEM supply have different documentation burdens. Tell us the destination market and channel and we will confirm which certificates name the exact configuration you are ordering, before you place it.
OEM / ODM scope

What can be configured for a mobile-power programme

Options are defined before sample production and locked after approval, so every subsequent batch matches the drawing you signed off.
Buyer questions

Technical and purchasing questions

Answers here are supply-side. For a project-specific recommendation, send the load profile.

Mechanically and electrically it is close, but three things need checking: the charger or alternator profile must suit lithium, the BMS blocks charging below 0 °C where a lead-acid battery would accept it, and the terminal format must match. Confirm those three and the swap is straightforward.

IP64 covers dust ingress and splashing water from any direction, which suits underfloor bays, deck lockers and engine compartments. It is not immersion-rated. If the position sees standing water or wash-down, tell us and we will advise on enclosure alternatives rather than overstate the rating.

The standard 12.8 V range supports up to four units in series and four in parallel. Send the intended topology at quotation stage — series and parallel limits depend on the BMS build for your order, and we confirm them per configuration rather than publishing a blanket figure.

Discharge continues down to -20 °C. Charging is blocked below 0 °C to prevent lithium plating, which is permanent damage rather than a temporary derate. For cold markets, specify the self-heating option or a low-temperature charge cut-off before sample approval.

It depends on the model, the customisation scope and whether the order is standard or private label. Send the model, target volume and destination market and we will quote MOQ and lead time together rather than in isolation.

We supply the pack-level documentation and dangerous goods packaging for sea freight. Confirm the destination market at quotation so the certificates name the exact configuration — a document that names a similar model will be refused at booking.

Send the load profile, not just the capacity

Appliance list, continuous and peak current, ambient temperature range, mounting position, target market and annual volume. An engineer replies within one business day with a configured quotation.
